Ivan was born into a mining family. Prior to commencing his career in education, at the University of Johannesburg, Ivan graduated from the School of Mines. He has been a valuable asset and has been a facilitator in training and development for more than 11 years. He is an examiner and when he is not in the classroom at BRLTC, he continues to lecture Engineering and Mining as a locum teacher.

 

Ivan is married and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
